Thanks to Rotel’s Balanced Design Concept, it is ensured that every device is developed with great attention to detail. Every aspect of a design is carefully considered to ultimately result in devices that offer the highest audiophile fidelity. The foundation for this is laid by first-class components, from the ultra-stable power supply unit with a generously dimensioned toroidal transformer to selected, bipolar output transistors with a high current carrying capacity. The circuit topology is optimized in complex processes until the acoustic results are optimal. The Rotel RB-1552 MKII has channel-separated voltage control stages; their structure consists practically of two separate monoblocks. Thanks to their extremely short charge and discharge times, the “Slit-Foil” filter capacitors from the British manufacturer BHC ensure that even powerful, dynamic music impulses are effortlessly mastered. Balanced XLR and unbalanced cinch sockets are optionally available as inputs.
