Rotel’s new Class A/B power amplifier is a real power pack and offers an output of 350 watts into 8 ohms (both channels in operation). Ideal for larger listening rooms and speakers that require more power to achieve the best possible audio performance.

In the best Rotel tradition, the RB-1590 is fitted with a single oversized toroidal transformer, manufactured in-house by Rotel and featuring separate windings. However, this transformer is only part of the ultra-stable power supply. In addition, 8 specially manufactured BHC slit foil capacitors (Made in England) are integrated, which are known for their low-loss and fast response time. These components deliver constant voltage under high current demands and the most difficult load conditions.

Every detail of the circuitry has been carefully considered and every component selected after intensive listening sessions. With the exception of the toroidal transformer, the output stage has a double mono design. The circuit layout ensures maximum signal separation and an improved stereo image.

Other features include: balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, high-quality speaker screw terminals (2 pairs per channel), 12V trigger, protection circuits, special relay to protect against overvoltage and to extend the service life, and a detachable power cable. And it’s all housed in a 5U chassis with rack mounting kit.
