The new Planar 6 with a whole range of technical innovations!

The Planar 6 is based on the great success of the RP8 and RP10 turntables. It is the first new Rega turntable to feature an ultra-lightweight Tancast 8 polyurethane foam core base (a material developed for the aerospace industry). This material is embedded between a new HPL (high pressure laminate). Exceptionally thin yet extremely stiff, HPL is presented in a stunning Polaris Matte Gray with high gloss polymer black edge trim.

The Planar 6 now benefits from a one-piece machined aluminum sub-platter, a new 24V motor that is hand-tuned and matched to its own Neo power supply, and a bespoke drive pulley that comes standard with our upgrade drive belt .
